Statement of Information - Corporations

Corporations formed in the State of California are required to file a Form SI-200 - Statement of Information (SOI) with the California Secretary of State each year.
The statement is due within 90 days after filing the original Articles of Incorporation with the State of California, and then annually thereafter.

The form can be electronically filed on the Secretary of State's site at  https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/

The form is due by the end of the month in which the corporation was originally formed.  The form can be filed five months early.  For example, a corporation formed February 15, 2012 would be required to file its initial form within 90 days of that date, and its first annual form by Feburary 28, 2013.  In this example, the form can be filed during the month of February 2013 or the five months prior.  This cycle repeats until the corporation is dissolved with the State of California.

There is a $25.00 filing fee required.

You may not receive a reminder from the California Secretary of State to file this form.  You are still required to file even if you do not receive a reminder.  The penalty assessed for failure to file or late filing is $250.00.
